Karen W. Tunks

Karyn W. Tunks, Ph.D., is professor emeritus of education from the University of South Alabama. She has more than 30 years of experience teaching learners of all ages from preschool through college. Karyn celebrates her adopted home state of Alabama by writing children’s books: JUBILEE! (2012), USS ALABAMA: Hooray for the Mighty A! (2015), Mardi Gras in Alabama! (2019), Art from the Heart: The Ricky Trione Story (2020), and Saving Bay Haven (2021).
